    We have been reading the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle. We have sequenced the story using the language 'first, then, next, and finally'. We have made artwork inspired by the illustrations by Eric Carle. We made fruit kebabs and explored taste and pattern. We explored the lifecycle of a caterpillar. We even got to meet Reception's caterpillars! We look forward to seeing them transform into butterflies!

    Nursery had a visit from the animal man. We have been learning about animals kept as pets, and how to look after them. We met some amazing animals such as hamsters, a chicken, a bearded dragon, a rabbit and a turtoise. We had so much fun, and we know how to care of our pets. Thank you for coming Mo, the animal man!
