Published 09/10/24, by Amba RavenThe children in Y3 have been experimenting with a variety of techniques using both charcoal and pencil tones. They have used skills such as cross-hatching, stippling and hatching. We have explored when we use these different mark-making skills and discussed what technique will create the darker tones in our drawings.

Published 09/10/24, by Amba RavenYear 3 were finding / testing different systems to see how they work. We experimented with numerous pieces of equipment to show how a pneumatic system works. Our vocabulary focus for the next upcoming lessons will be' Air pressure and compressed Air'. As a class we discussed how for a pneumatic system to work, air needs to be tightly squashed in a confined space to make something move.
