Year Three have been thinking about what abstract art is and researching the artist Frank Bowling. Bowling specialises in abstract expressionism where he focuses on the use of vibrant colours, shapes and the type of brushstrokes used. He also creates paintings using mixed media, such as acrylic gel. Today, Year Three have created a single/double page spread to show what they have found out and evidence some experimentations of different media.
