The children have been using The Very Hungry Caterpillar story as a basis for our Maths focus this week. The children have expanded on their knowledge of length. Using a variety of resources, we've made caterpillars that are long and short, some have been longer, some have been shorter. We then compared them to see which is the longest and the shortest, and questioned, how do we know which one is longer or shorter?
