Ask an adult to say a word or sentence from your blending/Ditty/Red and Green Book and you can write it (not copy)
I wonder who can write the most words? Sentences?
Remember

We have been talking about our dreams and what we would like to be when we grow up.
What is your dream job?
Can you draw a picture of yourself doing the job you would love to do one day?
You can add lots of colours and details to show what your job looks like.
You could even write a sentence ‘When I grow up I would like to be a…’

Habitats -
We have been reading The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. You can learn all about woodland animals in these Expressive Arts and Design lessons - https://www.thenational.academy/teachers/programmes/expressive-arts-and-design-foundation-early-years-foundation-stage-l/units/habitats-b374/lessons

We are delighted that the children are now spelling words containing 'special friends' such as – sh, ck, th, qu, ay, ee, igh and ow!

We are using string to create leaf prints for our Gruffalo Cafe tree...

Aydin “These aren’t zero because they have more. Zero is nothing”
Alissa “If the jar is empty, it’s zero, that’s not zero, that’s three”
Karson “I’ve got three sweets here and zero here”
Melody “This is zero because it’s got no dots on it”
Running, jogging, hopping, jumping, leaping, crawling, balancing and working together...

We discovered large footprints and a hen that lays golden eggs in our classroom. The children have been typing about who they think has come to visit our classroom...

Thank you so much to all of our parents, carers and family members who attended the workshop. The children loved learning with you in school!
