We had some very excited children this morning . All dressed up for World Book Day.
The Children had a picture of themselves and they had to make up there own adventure that their character had experienced
This morning, our classroom turned into an aeroplane . The children had their own passports and boarding tickets. We travelled to different parts of the world for our writing theme this week which is focusing on a character description . The children travelled with their teddy bears and experienced taking off and landing. Take at look at our pictures even our teachers got involved .
Today we celebrated TT ROCKS STARS that helps us learn our timetables. Some of the children and staff came to school dressed up as a rock star. We had an assemble by MR Robinson and all staff sang WE WILL ROCK YOU for the children . The Afternoon we got to enjoy some maths games in the hall and have lots of fun .
Year One enjoyed wearing their Christmas jumpers today for Christmas Jumper Day, What lovely jumpers!
Today the Jolly Postman came to year 1 to deliver a special letter from the Elf . All the children were super excited . The children will be writing a letter back to the Elf in our writing lesson.
We enjoyed investigating to find items to see if they would float or sink. We were very suprised as we predicted a lot of items would sink but they floated!
Year one have enjoyed decorating our Christmas tree and building our class Elf a new house.
Children In Need was such a success and look at this amazing cake. Someone had to win, take a look at our winners!
Year 1 have enjoyed sketching pictures for art. We have been sketching pictures of The Great Fire Of London, the children are very proud of their work and the pictures look amazing. Why don't you take a look at their fantastic art.
Year 1 took part in 2 minutes silence along with the rest of the school. The children were sensible and were very quiet .
Year 1 had a fantastic time at the Autumn Disco. We enjoyed dressing up and dancing with our friends.
