Year 3 had an exciting lesson investigating the different kinds of soils. As a class, we observed what would happen when we mixed a variety of soils with water. The children closely looked at the colour changes of the water and where the soil moved to within the bottle. They observed whether the soil sunk or floated.

Over the next week, we will carry on our investigation and observe what happens to the soil when kept in the water and whether any more changes happen.
