Year Three have been looking at abstract art this term and have been researching the artist Frank Bowling who creates paintings using mixed media. Bowling uses recycled items, adds them to a canvas and then paints over them using a range of media to create his art. The children were inspired by his works and created their own pieces of work based on Volcanoes. Aren’t they amazing?
